Registrations for Semester 1 2024 has opened for the Pick Up Service. To register you will need to fill in the registration form.

What is the ANU welcome service? 

The ANU welcome service provides Canberra pick up to new international and domestic students starting from the first day of your ANU accommodation move-in date. Services operate from Canberra airport and Canberra Jolimont bus station. Refer to operational hours below for details. 

Students who have registered for the service will be provided with a free transportation to their accommodation in Canberra. To register for this service, you will need to fill in this form.

Eligible students

• commencing domestic and international students
• continuing international students who have never been to Canberra due to border closure
• exchange students
• international students under 18 years of age are NOT eligible to use this service. 

S1 2024 Operational hours

• Canberra airport:

  Saturday, 3 Feb 2024 - Wednesday, 7 Feb 2024 from 10 AM - 2 30 PM

• Canberra Jolimont Bus station:

  Saturday, 3 Feb 2024 - Monday, 5 Feb 2024 from 12 PM - 4 PM 

What do I do when I arrive at Canberra Airport?

Upon arrival, please head to the visitor information booth located near the luggage carousel. Our ANU representatives will be at the booth on days noted above. They will then assist you with your free transfer to your accommodation.

What if I arrive outside your operational hour?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer a pick-up service outside our operational period. There are several transportation options from Canberra airport, including taxis, bus and ride-share (Uber and Ola). 

If you are an international student who is under 18 years of age by the time you arrive in Australia, we will not be able to provide this service to you.
