Writing for University

Learn how to write persuasive, well-structured academic texts.

Academic writing is persuasive writing.

In this informative workshop, we walk you through the entire writing process: breaking down assignment questions; finding your position in relation to the assessment task; and structuring, planning, writing, incorporating sources, and editing your work. Using real-world examples, we examine and analyse the essentials of high-quality arguments and the key components of academic writing and paragraph structure.

Please arrive at 9:45am for a 10:00am start.
