Consulting in Action - Special Industry Project, Drop-in Session

Curious about work-integrated learning, consulting or solving real business problems?

Join this drop-in session to learn more about the CBE Special Industry Project (SIP), a 6-unit work-integrated learning course where students work in teams as consultants to solve a real business case for an industry client.

SIP helps you build practical skills employers value, including problem solving, teamwork, communication, research, client engagement and professional presentation skills.

In Semester 2 2026, SIP students will work with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) on a real-world business case.

This session is a great opportunity to:

  • learn how SIP works directly from the course convenor, Dr Katerina Kormusheva
  • understand how it can build job-ready skills
  • ask questions about eligibility and enrolment
  • explore how the course can strengthen your resume, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills

No consulting experience is required. SIP is suited to students who are curious, collaborative and interested in solving real-world business problems.

The session will be facilitated by Dr Katerina Kormusheva, SIP course convenor, Research School of Management, ANU College of Business and Economics.
